ABOUT
Community Integration Specialists was founded by Cindy Cox in 2018 to support participants in California’s Self-Determination Program (SDP). Cindy’s experience with self-determination began much earlier—she has supported individuals participating in the program since 2002, during the SDP pilot phase.
Since its founding, Community Integration Specialists has grown to support hundreds of individuals and families throughout California. Cindy and her team remain dedicated to a simple but meaningful mission: helping people with disabilities live their best lives.
We believe in meeting people where they are. For clients in Inyo County, Mono County, and Ridgecrest, we provide services both in person and remotely through Zoom. Clients elsewhere in California primarily receive services remotely through Zoom.
No matter how we connect, every client is important, respected, and valued. Our team strives to be accessible, responsive, and easy to talk with while providing dependable support tailored to each person’s goals.
